Misty Fox is a multi-media artist from Grant County, Indiana- a swath of small towns and rust belt remnants. She graduated from Ball State University in the Spring of 2023 with a BFA in Studio Art.  She works primarily in drawing, painting, and digital artwork, though she considers herself a jack of all trades across 2D mediums.

Fox’s work is primarily influenced by her upbringing, pop culture, and subversions of the norm. She considers herself a bit of an unorthodox person, especially in the area she grew up, and incorporates this into her work. In this same vein, her work often reflects those of the marginalized and underrepresented in society. She creates these pieces focused on identity, expression, and social justice through experimental, representative imagery.

Fox has also become involved in several art markets and exhibitions across central Indiana. Most recently, her work has been shown at the 124th Exhibition of Indiana and Ohio Artists in Richmond, IN and the state’s first all-LGBT market in Indianapolis, IN.
